♫•*¨*•.♫•*¨*•. my babies graduated~!!

Congratulations to my fellow UCLA c/o 2010! Cherish your wonderful college memories and wish you all best of luck in your future endeavors, you will move on to do great things! I can't believe it has been a year since I wore the cap and gown and walked across the stage of Pauley Pavilion / almost a year (three more months) since I graduated. Returning to UCLA this weekend has been a lot of fun, a lot of hugs, a lot of walking, and very little sleep :P Kind of reminds me of my university days :D c/o 2010 has some of my favorite people from college, and I was happy to celebrate their special day with them. Disappointed I missed out on some graduations because there was just too much to do with soo little time and overlapping schedules. Big & Special CONGRATS to Jeff & Jarita! I didn't get to take grad pictures with the two of you :(

Zac Posen for Target

Mi* & Ka woke up at 8am today to shop Zac Posen @ Target. After lunch, we decided to do an amateur photo shoot of the items we bought today :)

Two-Piece Ruffled Dress with Steve Madden heels
This was the #1 item I wanted when I previewed the lookbook. Adorable dress, but the one I'm wearing is a size 5 and I need a size 3 (there was only two left in this color when we arrived at the store at 8:40am!) I think I will end up returning it.

Pleated Tie Top with H&M skirt
I love the outfit, but don't love the top. Return.

Chambray Dress with Forever 21 hat & straw bag from Taiwan

My sister's favorite - she's keeping the dress. It comes with a sash belt that we tied into a bow on the back.

Zac Lipstick Tank with Ed Hardy cap & leggings from Taiwan
jewelry from Topshop, Forever 21, H&M, and Aldo

I love my Miu Miu Cabachon look-a-like Carlos Santana platforms!
Super comfy and ~50% off from Macy*s

Brocade Skirt with Banana Republic tee & Miu Miu bag

The skirt design & material is beautiful, but I don't like the upper portion of the skirt. I covered it up with my shirt here.

Floral Print Brocade Tie Dress with Steve Madden heels
by then my hair has gotten really messy from all the outfit changes.. This dress is sold out everywhere, I think it was one of the first items to sell out. I bought the last one in the store! The design and material is really beautiful, but I wish it was shorter. I will eventually sell this dress - my sister just want to wear it once to her friend's wedding. I think this dress will look great on someone who's 5'5" (i'm 5'2.5") So if you are size 3 and want to buy this dress from me, let me know! =)

Sweater Dress with Topshop necklace and my sister's red heels

The length is not flattering on me. I like my dresses short :D
so I folded up the bottom ruffle portion.

I also bought the black cardigan in this photo
it's a bit over-priced, but one of my favorite buys :)
We searched two Target stores for the black braided belt, but no luck :(

The black blazer - another piece I really like,
however, the XS was too small & the S was too big =/

Overall, I think Zac Posen's line for Target is pretty good. Good quality. The only thing is that most of the dresses would look better on someone taller, they're not as flattering on someone with a petite frame.

Head Over Heels

Everyone knows that Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen have incredible fashion sense, but what really caught my attention were their killer heels! Here are some of the amazing shoes they have worn :)

{ Dress also by Giambattista Valli }

Ashley in Prada heels (ID below)

{ beautiful colors! }

{ I love these outfits! }

Shoes are my favorite accessories to shop for.
I am currently in love with chunky platforms,
and MK & Ashley pull them off really well.
I hope to find two nice pairs - one in black + one in tan/brown
that's within my budget :]

I ♥ NY - foto series

Despite the ugly weather, our time in NYC was short & sweet. We spent four days in New York, but it was more like two since there was a huge rain storm over the weekend :( On the first day I was unhappy because we were stuck inside the room and my pre-planned itinerary was ruined :( The heavy wind + rain was very frightening. We tried to get some food nearby and I couldn't walk more than two blocks!! It was so windy that I was getting pushed off the sidewalk and my umbrella was about to fly out of my hands. I felt so scared that tears started streaming down my face (kinda silly, I know haha).. I have never experience that kind of rain storm before. East Coast weather definitely gave me new definitions for cold, rain, and wind. I was sad also because I felt unlucky that days before and after our visit, the weather was nice & sunny. Even though we didn't have enough time to visit all the places on my list, I still had fun eating and walking around NYC after the storm subsided. Tuesday, our last day in New York, the sun finally came out and we visited so many places that our feet ached from walking :P NYC is definitely an amazing city, and I can't wait to go back again! =)
